Who we are
This website, opusjuris.com, is operated by Opus Juris, LLC of Jersey City, New Jersey. This policy covers the website. The Opus Juris software, and the documents a firm works on inside it, are covered by the agreement between Opus Juris, LLC and that firm, not by this policy.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a demo you give us your first and last name, your email address, your firm's name, and if you choose, your phone number, your firm's size and where you file. When you email or call us, we receive what you send and your contact details.
Information collected automatically. The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising tags. Like every website, the servers that host it record each request in a log (the address of the connecting computer, the page requested, the browser and the time) for security and troubleshooting, and those logs are kept briefly. The page's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the address of the connecting computer when the page opens; we receive nothing from that request.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange the demo.
- To follow up with you about that request.
- To keep the website running and secure.
We do not add you to a mailing list and do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Who else sees it
The providers that host the website and deliver our email handle your information on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations. If a form service is used to deliver demo requests to us, it handles the request the same way. We disclose personal information when the law requires it. We do not sell it and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep a demo request for as long as we need it to handle the request and our records of that conversation. Write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@opusjuris.com from the address you gave us, and we will respond. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
The website is for law firms and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date at the top.
